LEAD/RHYTHM GUITAR | VOCALS

Michael has been playing guitar from a young age since his grandfather, who played guitar and banjo, inspired him and taught him his first chords.  In the decades since, Michael picked up along the way, bass guitar, drums and vocals.  Hailing from Kentucky, he has musical influences all over the map...blues, jazz, country, classic rock, prog rock and much more.  He has co-written and recorded numerous albums with previous blues band Soul Therapy, as well as playing in such local bands as The Factory, FM and Yacht Rocket.

Some of his guitar influences include Peter Frampton, Gary Moore, Tom Scholz, Steve Morse, Guthrie Govan, Larry Carlton and John Petrucci to name a few.

Michael's music philosophy is simple.  Surround yourself with musicians who are worlds better than you are, and you'll mature exponentially as a musician.  KQBE is the embodiment of that belief!
